If you had to pick one activity inside the Kremlin walls, what would it be?

Step past security into the darkened, chilled room of the Russian Diamond Fund Exhibition and take a slow stroll around one of the most dazzling collections of treasures known to mankind. The guards will shush you if you speak audibly, but you’ll probably be speechless anyway. Thousands of carats from centuries of Russian empire glitter in crowns, tiaras, jewelry, and Imperial orders. Enormous gold nuggets and platinum are also on display in this magnificent collection.

The ticket is 500 rubles, and you have to check all electronic devices at the coat check downstairs before you go upstairs to the exhibit. If you want to check out the adjacent Armoury chamber as well, the tickets are sold for specific times and they cost 700 rubles.

The cash-only ticket offices are located in the Alexander Garden in a renovated space.
