If I translate the name of our company to Russian does it sound ok or a bit funny? We are registering it in Russia.

My best advice is to transliterate, using Russian letters, the exact original name of your company. I would not translate it into a Russian version. Especially if the company is the same; the name should be the same.

Also- in your case, most Russians will clearly understand both words in the name of the company that you sent me. I also think that using foreign words in company names might give them a certain cachet — many Russians still associate “foreign” with “good.”
